Rachel Flink

Rachel joined the Madrona team in 2015 and supports John Carpenter, Troy Cichos, Patrick Ennis and S. Somasegar. Rachel also takes an active role in organizing Madrona’s industry conferences.

Past Lives

Prior to joining Madrona, Rachel graduated from Highline College and began working alongside and supporting the founder of a Seattle startup. She learned a tremendous amount in her five years working with the startup’s leadership team as the company grew and expanded its services. In 2015 Rachel was ready for her next chapter and found her way to Madrona.

Extracurriculars

In the time she spends outside of Madrona, Rachel loves an evening spent with her husband and friends over dinner, drinks, and a show. And as much as she enjoys a weekend with the girls, she equally craves a weekend working in her yard, ordering takeout, and binging the latest HBO series.

Love for the PNW

For Rachel, Washington has always been home. With a few exceptions, her family and friends are here in Washington. She appreciates all the beauty the PNW has to offer and the fact that her people are never too far away.

Alexandra Marez

Alex joined the Madrona team in May of 2021 and supports Shannon Anderson, S. Somasegar, and John Torrey.

Journey to Madrona

Before joining Madrona, Alex was an executive assistant to the managing partners at Northwestern Mutual. While she wore many hats in her previous roles, she is most proud of managing the office event planning and creating a WomenConnect group, which offered support to all women in the office professionally and personally. Alex graduated from Seattle University.

When she’s not in the office…

Alex loves to host family and friends any chance she can get. She also loves binge-watching whatever is new on TV, is a True Crime fanatic, and loves exploring Seattle.

Noteworthy

In 2020, Alex was awarded Associate of the Year at Northwestern Mutual.
