Journey to Madrona
Molly joined Madrona directly from Silicon Valley Bank, where she was most recently a VP on the lending team, managing a portfolio of early-stage startups based in the Pacific Northwest and British Columbia. Before that, Molly was based out of the SVB San Francisco office. There, she worked closely with companies during fundraising cycles with tightening liquidity. She has specialized lending experience with later-stage companies (More than $75 million in revenue), hardware, and fintech companies.
- Being completely transparent is always the right move. Even if it feels hard at the time, it ends up making your life easier in the long run and builds trusting work relationships that endure.
- Keep asking questions — people love to tell you what they know. It will make you better at your job, and you’ll never be bored.
When she’s not in the office…
Molly enjoys spending time in her yard fighting back the never-ending weeds or tending her cut flower garden. She also loves to read and has been introducing her husband to downhill skiing for the last few seasons.
Molly is from the Seattle area and graduated cum laude from Whitworth University with a degree in English with a concentration in literature.
