“Building a great company takes hard work and enthusiasm, the right mix of conviction and flexibility, the right team, and the courage and discipline to make well-informed strategic bets. Not every entrepreneur can pull all of this together on their own. Madrona can be the catalyst a team needs to take their hard work and vision to the next level.”

At Madrona: In his role as a Partner, Tim spends his time sourcing and evaluating new investment opportunities as well as working closely with a number of portfolio companies. He works with his companies to provide input on a range of strategic and operating priorities including hiring and recruiting, product development decisions, business development roadmaps, annual operating plans, fundraising and M&A.
“I really believe that no other venture firm will roll up their sleeves and work harder than Madrona to help make your company a success.”
While, Tim looks at new companies across all of Madrona’s investment areas, he has an emphasis on the software, infrastructure, and wireless sectors. Of late, he has been particularly focused on the areas of Software-as-a-Service, cloud computing, and emerging mobile platforms.
