Context Is the Moat: Why Fyxer Wins Where Others Don’t

Fyxer turned years running an EA agency into AI productivity tools for email and meetings — and hit $10M ARR just 6 months after launching. Launched by brothers Richard and Archie Hollingsworth and Matt Ffrench.

Over the past two decades, workplace productivity has undergone a dramatic transformation. The first wave of productivity tools empowered humans to get work done and has evolved quickly over the past few years to support collaboration, communication, and efficiency, as seen with the rise of products like Slack and Zoom. Despite these advancements, the burden of execution has largely remained on the user – especially when it comes to manual, high-friction workflows like inbox triage, meeting management, and relentless context-switching. We are now entering a new era: one where intelligent agents begin to do the work for us, leveraging existing tools as infrastructure, rather than endpoints.

Today, we are thrilled to announce we have led a $30 million Series B investment in Fyxer, an intelligent agent for knowledge workers that redefines what we can do (and can’t), starting with high-touch admin work.

Becoming an Extension of the Individual

Fyxer has built an AI email assistant that enables knowledge workers to become 10x more efficient, starting with email categorization and drafting, calendar scheduling, and meeting summaries. With an interface-agnostic system that integrates across productivity tools (email, calendar, messaging, etc.), Fyxer unlocks the potential for frictionless adoption within existing workflows.

Fyxer currently focuses on cases traditionally handled by EAs, delving deep into tasks that even the best assistants are hesitant to fully own – operating autonomously from within inboxes (reading, labelling, and drafting email replies), managing sensitive communications, and coordinating complex schedules without the friction of human bottlenecks or knowledge silos. We’re excited to see Fyxer ultimately evolve into becoming an extension of the individual, filling in productivity gaps and unlocking meaningful value.

Unlocking “Perfect Memory”

Advancements in LLMs combined with sophisticated data ingestion are laying the groundwork for something that previous generations of tools were incapable of: a “perfect, shared memory” for an organization and “longitudinal context” for any individual.

This shift enables companies to build a shared knowledge base that learns from every email, meeting, and task, creating longitudinal context for individuals and teams. And it’s not just automation – it’s contextual intelligence that is deeply embedded in the day-to-day workflows of knowledge workers. In time, AI will not only surface insights but also begin to take meaningful action on behalf of users, faster and more effectively than ever before. With Fyxer, every knowledge worker in the world is finally able to have their own EA and Chief of Staff who knows you, your organization, your style of communication, and your preferences to take action on your behalf.

Building Long-Term Defensibility Through Context and Learning

Fyxer has been intentional about taking a first-principles approach of investing in a defensible product foundation and data backbone. A key part of this strategy is a sophisticated context retrieval and processing engine, designed to bring the product closer to passing what the team calls the “Turing test for productivity.”

Since the start of the year, Fyxer has prioritized high-quality data collection and interpretation. Armed with extensive knowledge and learnings from the founders’ prior executive assistant agency, along with an in-house team of data annotators, Fyxer is well positioned to deliver on exceptional context and quality in the years to come. This level of rigor not only improves prompt engineering and output fidelity but also enhances the agent’s ability to operate with nuanced, longitudinal context. We have heard anecdotally that users are shocked at the accuracy of tone for each email, with some users claiming, “it answers questions that I don’t even know the answer to!”

Enter Rich, Archie, and Matt

We first met the Fyxer team 6 months ago and developed an early conviction that they had a deep, nuanced understanding of what it takes to build the best quality product in today’s market and the relentless focus to make their vision a reality. The two brothers, Richard Hollingsworth (CEO) and Archie Hollingsworth (CRO), along with their CTO Matt Ffrench, bring ambition, grit, a product-first mindset, and a maniacal focus on execution that is rare and uniquely positioned to disrupt the category. That focus and execution excellence has translated into the company growing its revenue more than 15x in the last 8 months, and the team is just getting started.

Today, we are thrilled to announce our investment in the company and honored to partner with Rich, Archie, Matt, and their world-class team, alongside our friends at 20VC, Lakestar, and other prominent angels and friends on the journey to power the next wave of workplace productivity!
