Palo Alto

Roxy joined Madrona in 2026 to lead talent out of our Bay Area office as the firm continues to expand its presence outside of Seattle. She partners closely with founders and CEOs across Madrona’s portfolio to accelerate company growth through exceptional hiring. She also focuses on cultivating a network of next-gen talent across all of Madrona’s core investment areas.

Journey to Madrona

Prior to joining Madrona, Roxy spent over 8 years at Daversa Partners, a leading retained executive search firm focused on venture-backed technology companies. She specialized in VP and C-level placements across consumer and enterprise businesses with a focus on high-growth, AI-enabled healthcare platforms. She worked closely with founders and CEOs to build executive teams across go-to-market and operations functions, partnering with companies including Hims & Hers, Slingshot AI, Talkiatry, and Function Health. Earlier in her career, Roxy held talent roles at Sapphire Ventures and B Capital, where she partnered with founders and portfolio leaders on executive hiring, organizational design, and broader talent strategy.

Lessons learned

The harder you work, the luckier you get.

When she’s not in the office…

You can find Roxy training for her next race, taking a Pilates class, or exploring San Francisco’s incredible culinary scene. She’s also an avid traveler and believes exploring new places is one of the best ways to gain perspective and learn from different cultures. At home, she’s a devoted mother to her dog, Fred, and cat, Noshi.

Noteworthy

Roxy graduated from the University of California, Davis, with a degree in neurobiology, physiology, and behavioral anthropology. She was born and raised in San Diego, but after ten years in San Francisco officially considers herself a local.

“I was drawn to Madrona because of the depth of partnership across the firm and its long-standing commitment to helping founders build enduring companies. What stood out most was the strength of the people and the firm’s track record of supporting entrepreneurs through every stage of company building. I’m excited to build on that legacy as Madrona continues its expansion beyond Seattle, bringing that founder-first approach to the Bay Area and helping scale the talent engine behind the next generation of category-defining companies.”
