We are excited to welcome two new investors to the Madrona team: Rasik Parikh and Rolanda Fu. Both Rasik and Rolanda bring a wealth of experience, expertise, and enthusiasm to our mission of supporting early-stage entrepreneurs in the Pacific Northwest and beyond.
Rasik Parikh comes to Madrona from the investment bank Cascadia Capital, where he advised growth-stage companies with a focus on companies in software infrastructure, DevOps, and cybersecurity. Previously, Rasik spent three years at the University of Washington Investment Management Company, where he worked broadly across the endowment’s venture capital portfolio and other assets. Rasik is a Seattle native and proud Husky, having graduated from the University of Washington (Go Dawgs!) with a degree in business administration and Finance. He is also an alum of Lake Washington High School (go Kangs!). He is passionate about supporting the local tech ecosystem and fostering innovation in the region. He is particularly interested in enterprise software, cloud infrastructure, and artificial intelligence. Aside from his devotion to the Dawgs, Rasik is a lifelong Mariners fan and you can often find him at T-Mobile stadium cheering on the team. He is also an intrepid traveler, having visited 20 countries to date.
Rolanda Fu joins Madrona from EY-Parthenon, a leading strategy consulting firm, where she advised clients across various sectors, including technology, consumer & retail, education, and healthcare. She has extensive experience in commercial due diligence, corporate growth strategy, and market research. Rolanda also spent time at MIT’s Solve Innovation Future Fund, building experience in early-stage technology investing with global entrepreneurs. Originally from the Seattle area and a proud graduate of Interlake High School (go Saints!), Rolanda attended the University of Chicago (go Maroons!), where she majored in economics with a minor in statistics. She is excited to return to Seattle and work with early-stage entrepreneurs to help them realize their visions. She is especially interested in consumer platforms and marketplaces, enterprise software, and intelligent applications. Rolanda loves getting out on the hiking trails in the PNW and is a classically trained violinist. She is on the lookout for a community orchestra to join.
We are thrilled to welcome Rasik and Rolanda to the team. They both bring a unique combination of skills, perspectives, and networks and we look forward to them hitting the ground running. Rasik and Rolanda are eager to learn from and contribute to our community of founders, investors, and partners, look for them around town to welcome them to the startup community. Among the many ways Rolanda and Rasik will contribute to Madrona, a significant way is creating and fostering new entrepreneur relationships across the Pacific NW. If you are a founder or aspire to be one, Rasik and Rolanda will be great people to get to know and connect with the broader Madrona team. Please join us in welcoming both Rasik and Rolanda to the Madrona family!
